Colm O’hEocha
In the last four years as a trainer, coach and consultant, Colm has supported large scale agile adoptions in companies like Intel, HMH, Aegon Insurance, Vulcan Solutions and Duolog. Colm is founder and principle of AgileInnovation, an approved supplier to Enterprise Irelands’ “Lean Business Offer” support fund. Colm is also founder of AgileIreland, a community of agile practicioners, contributes to research in agile methods as part of LERO (Irish Software Engineering Research Institute)and speaks at international and national conferences on agile and lean product development.
Fran O'Hara
Fran has over 27 years experience in the software industry having worked as a researcher, developer, tester, project manager, software development manager and quality management consultant. Fran specialises in pragmatic approaches to lean/agile, software process improvement, quality/testing, and associated practices. For the last 5 years, his main focus has been providing agile/lean coaching, training and support to organisations transitioning to agile. These include HMH, Aegon Insurance, Openet, WBT Systems, Celtrino, DAA, The Hartford, Payzone, Newbay and Visma Sirius (Denmark). Fran is recognised as a thought leader in Quality and Agile and consults with clients in these areas particularly around Scrum/Kanban. He is a regular speaker at agile, process improvement and quality/testing conferences. Fran is a certified ScrumMaster, an ISTQB testing tutor at advanced level, a CMMI lead assessor, a fellow of the Irish Computer Society, a director of the TMMi Foundation, and co-founder of the Irish SIG in Software Testing - SoftTest. His company is an approved supplier to Enterprise Irelands’ “Lean Business Offer” support fund.
Claudio Perrone aka Agile Sensei
Claudio is an independent consultant, based in Dublin and operating worldwide, who helps organizations to radically improve their performance. He is a well-known Lean & Agile Sensei, A3 Thinker and Startup strategist. His Agile journey began in 2001, when he met an Extreme Programmer who rocked his world. Today, if you choose so, he will rock yours. He is an award-winning international speaker and storytelling journeyman.
John Vaughan
John is development lead for SoftCo, a leading business process automation provider, with overall responsibility for development & quality teams in both Ireland & Kiev. With over 12 years experience in the IT industry, John has held a variety of roles from HPCC consultant to programmer to software development manager, in companies ranging in size from start-ups to major multinationals. He works on the basis of two principles 1: keep it simple and 2: always deliver tangible results.
Gail Park
Gail Park joined Openet in June 2010 as a Project Manager. Her current Change Management role within Engineering has supported the establishment of a Project Management Office within Openet Engineering, she currently manages the Lean/Agile Transformation program along with ensuring efficient engagements with all stakeholders on behalf of Engineering. Prior to this, Gail has held a number of Global Project Management & Business Systems Analysis positions in both Dell & eircom net, with prior involvement in Agile rollouts. Gail holds an honours degree in B.Sc. in Computer Applications from Dublin City University, along with qualifications from the Institute of Accounting Technicians (IATI), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) & a B.A. in Fine Art.
Glen Lockhart
Glen is one of the Engineering managers working in Openet with responsibility for the development of a number of Openet’s product lines. Glen has over 12 years of experience in building high performance, scalable software. 10 of those 12 years have been spend working in the telecoms industry. He is responsible for all technical aspects of the products, including design, testability, and performance. He worked closely with Gail Park on the rollout of the ScrumBan process to the Feature Teams creating Openet’s new product, Interaction Gateway.
